Questions we get asked
What is the best time of year for a honeymoon?
October to April for comfort. February and March are particularly good — warm on the Red Sea, pleasant in the Nile Valley, and past the December peak.
How long should we go for?
Ten to twelve days lets you see the Nile Valley properly and still have five nights by the sea. Eight days works but the ending feels abrupt.
Nile cruise or hotels?
A cruise moves you between Luxor and Aswan while you sleep, which removes a lot of transfers. A dahabiya — a small sailing boat with a handful of cabins — is quieter than the large ships and worth asking about.
Can you arrange something special without it being awkward?
Yes. Flowers in the room, a private dinner, a felucca to yourselves at sunset. Tell us what you would like and it simply happens, without a performance around it.
Do you handle the Red Sea part too?
